Blog - There Goes The Neighborhood!!!
Just got back from the second round of shooting for me and Sau's "Only In Cali" video. Going back and forth between Pasadena & San Diego can get exhausting - they say it's supposed to be an hour and 45 minute drive but it somehow always stretches to 2 1/2 hours! I don't mind though, in true Slacker fashion I got a good 9 1/2 hours of sleep last night. For those of you who have been looking forward to There Goes The Neighborhood, I got good news - mixing is almost wrapped up and we're seriously looking into the possibility of doing a bonus DVD that comes with the album. We got the "Mathematics" video already done, "Only In Cali" right around the corner and plenty of behind the scenes footage with The Slacker Pad, Gas One, Dave Moss, Mike Ula, Meni Ru, Dwayne Wayne, Gangsta Gold, the list goes on and on. So if we do the DVD, it'll be plenty of content for it.
Oh yeah, have you seen the cover for There Goes The Neighborhood? Shout out to B. Mahlberg (some call him B-Rad hahaha) for the cover design and for these videos we been doing - ROTS Media is official! Anyway, there's the cover on the left, click it to see the bigger version.
You can expect to hear from us later on in the week, we should have a few more behind the scenes videos - one from the making of the "Only In Cali" video, and another of me and Sau at The Batkave with Dave Moss working on the album itself. Until then, shout outs to Gualberto's on University Ave. for the bomb ass adobado fries! Yah digg...
